The Oakland Community Ambassadors are a group of Pitt students who aim to engage with the Pitt and local communities through programming and service initiatives to create a safer, healthier, greener, and better-connected Oakland. The ambassadors work with off-campus students and neighbors to better understand, support, and collaborate with the Oakland community.
The ambassadors work in 5 different teams, or zones, approximately representing the neighborhoods in Oakland. These include:
- North Oakland
- South Oakland
- West Oakland
- Central Oakland
- Oakcliffe
You can find the ambassadors who represent your area walking around with information, resources, and swag!
If you'd like to get in touch with the ambassadors, please email them at oaklandambassadors@pitt.edu
Meet your 2023-24 ambassadors:
