The Student Government Board (SGB) offers legal advice to students if legal issues or questions concerning their lease should arise.  

Code of Conduct

Living off-campus can be fun and exciting, however, you are still a part of the University of Pittsburgh community and will need to follow the University’s Code of Conduct.

Be a Good Neighbor

Engagement and Community Affairs works in collaboration with Off-Campus Student Services to educate students on the importance of being a good neighbor and building relationships with members of the local community and encourages responsible behavior while living off-campus.

311 Response Center

The City of Pittsburgh’s 311 Response Center allows residents to report non-emergency concerns or ask questions about activities in their neighborhood.

Allegheny County Health Department

The Allegheny County Health Department providers renters with resources on heat, water, plumbing, and pest control.

Shuttles, SafeRider, and the Pittsburgh Port Authority

The University of Pittsburgh Parking, Transportation & Services provides students with information on shuttle routes and schedules, Pittsburgh Port Authority updates, and SafeRider services that help students get to and from campus after dark.

Police

The University of Pittsburgh Campus Police  and  City of Pittsburgh Police  work collaboratively to provide you with assistance during an emergency.
