Learning Outcome
Students will recognize their role as members of a broader community beyond campus and will demonstrate collective responsibility by engaging with community-relevant issues, participating in shared stewardship, and reflecting on their impact within the Oakland neighborhoods and the greater Pittsburgh community.
How to earn the badge
Complete the Be A Good Neighbor Experience Track to earn the first Be A Good Neighbor Badge by earning 200 points. Complete any of the following activities to reach 200 points.

| Volunteer at Garbage Olympics | 20 |
| Attend a meeting of your neighborhood's community organization | 20 |
| Do an act of kindness for a neighbor | 20 |
| Complete the Living Off-Campus: the Fundamentals Canvas course | 20 |
| Participate in a local Alternative Break trip | 75 |
| Attend an Off-Campus Student Services trash cleanup | 20 |

| Volunteer at the Be a Good Neighbor Day of Service | 50 |
| Donate to Clutter for a Cause | 10 |
