Meet the '25-'26 South Oakland Ambassadors
Katie Boyes (she/her)
Katie is a graduating student of Environmental Studies, Secondary Education, and Global Studies. She is from Philadelphia but has found a lovely community in Pittsburgh during her time as a student and outdoor educator in Pittsburgh Public Schools. Her favorite activities as an Oakland Community Ambassador include group trash pickups and daily conversations with Oakland's long-term residents.
Bianca Samuel (she/her)
Bianca is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry on the pre-med track. She is involved in multiple service clubs at Pitt and is grateful for opportunities to contribute to causes larger than herself. Bianca is excited to continue being a South Oakland Ambassador.
Zoé MacKenzie (she/her)
Zoé MacKenzie is a junior from Media, PA who is currently majoring in International Studies and Sociology with a minor in French at the University of Pittsburgh. This is Zoé’s first year as a South Oakland Community Ambassador, and she is loving this role! Zoé enjoys getting to know the residents in her area and being able to plan events for her community. Zoé is excited to establish future events in her area and is looking forward to collaborating with her team and the residents of South Oakland!
